Terms of Service

Thank you for visiting the Australian Psychoanalytic Foundation website ("Site").

This Site is operated by the Australian Psychoanalytic Foundation ("APF", "we", "us"). The Foundation is conducted by a Board of Directors some of whom are Members of the Australian Psychoanalytical Society and some who bring expertise from other fields. The aim of the Foundation is to raise funds to fund low-fee paying treatment for those who might not otherwise have access to psychoanalytic treatment, to fund psychoanalytic consultation and outreach education – as well as to promote the availability of Psychoanalytic therapies in the community.

To this end, the APF maintains this website to facilitate the receipt of donations through the “Gateway” provided, to our account with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Acceptance of the Serivce Terms ↓

Access to and use of this Site and the Service is provided on and subject to these terms and conditions (the "Service Terms"). By entering and using this Site to make your donation, you accept these Service Terms.

Restrictions on use ↓

Your use of the materials on the Site is only for informational purposes. You agree you will not distribute (including making available online, electronically transmitting or otherwise communicating to the public), publish, transmit, modify, display or create derivative works from or exploit the contents of the Site in any way. You agree to be responsible for any losses incurred by the APF as a result of any and all unauthorised uses you may make of any materials on the Site. You acknowledge the unauthorised use of the contents could cause irreparable harm to the APF and that, in the event of unauthorised use, the APF will be entitled to seek an injunction in addition to any other remedies available to it. You agree that you will not use the Site for any unlawful purpose. You also agree not to violate or attempt to violate the security of the Site.

The only personal information you provide to us is for the express purpose of making a donation to the APF (see Privacy Policy). Please review this document carefully to ensure you understand it.

Governing law ↓

These Service Terms will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia. In the event that any of the Service Terms are found to be unenforceable under New South Wales law, this will not affect the remainder of these Service Terms.
